Smooth, delicious Barbera. As good or better than many an Italian Barbera in the same price range. A bit juicier than the 2006 I had within the last month, but exhibiting all the classic Barbera notes on the palate. 89-90, and giving it the benefit of the doubt for being just plain fun to drink.

Very nice rendition of the Italian classic! Light bodied, light fruit on the nose fills the mouth with tame tanins, some light tabbaco, leather and lingers well on the pallet. Of all the Washington wines done in this style I'd recommend this one with the Almquist a very close second.

Last bottle. Still good, but fading a bit from its prime.
