  This one is on the outside verge of interesting. There is enough indication of Cabernet/Merlot type flavors to keep us sipping, while we know at this price point there is not much hope for concentration and intensity. It does try. The color is super dark purple. The nose has some commendable coffee, menthol, lavender and light blue fruit. Unfortunately, the palate is pretty light and industrial. There is some black cherry with an underlying eucalyptus and menthol base, but still struggling to achieve 85 points. Other vintages have been much more satisfying.
