Deep purple, some bricking, medium/full body, mild aromas dark fruits, bramble, balanced dark fruit flavors, cassis, mild/moderate tannins, mild acid, medium finish excellent qpr@$29; drink soon.

Drank great as a pop and pour. Mature blackfruit and minerality. Still very fresh and not over extracted. Has plenty of time left but ready in my opinion. Did put off tons of sediment so filtering would be good.

Very big wine with lots of upfront fruit. Blackberry, raspberry predominantly. Finish of bittersweet chocolate and blackberry. Shows a hint of tar on the finish also but it comes in too hot right now. Hold'em if you got 'em. Would not really try this until 2018 or after to see if it settles down.

I was nervous about this bottle. Signs of seepage. Wine stained cork and seal. Opened and and decanted. Rich well developed fruity cab. Well worth the price point about mid 40's and blows away or equals many wines twice the price

To be fair, I popped and poured on the day I received it, so that's kind of two obstacles for it to overcome. It was probably around cellar temperature (in the 50s anyway), which I prefer but some people think too cold. Still, I thought it had a nice mouthfeel, good concentrated fruit (blueberry and cherry notes as I recall - I'm writing this the next day), and enough tannin to keep for awhile. Medium-long finish too. I thought it was pretty enjoyable, really - about right for its $50-ish price range. My wife was NOT a fan, but she's pretty much out on extracted California cabs. Still, she has a really good palate, which makes me second-guess myself. So I'll commit to a 90+ and give it some time to calm down in the cellar before I try again.
