This 2011 is showing very tight right now. You can tell there a bunch of red fruit trying to emerge through a lot of earthy, underbrush, barky flavors. Close to full bodied, but also very soft and delicate. Medium dark red color. Roses, cranberry, red raspberry and forest floor on the nose. Palate coating, woody, metallic red raspberry and cherry fruit.

Taste at FHE.
Nice fruit on the nose.
Palate is austere, young and tight now.

Fruit forward smell, dry finish, young wine needs time. Live from Key West FL!

2012 Bordeaux Trip; 4/1/2012-4/4/2012 (Bordeaux, France): M 75% CF 20% CS 5%. Plummy, tannins with a little balsamic? Nice depth, very concentrated, and more accessible than the first wine.
