Cinnamon whip cream that I find in so many Chilean reds, especially blends that include Carmenere, is also present here. For a new world cabernet, this is slightly on the elegant side. It is medium bodied yet shows some black-tea-leaves-like tannins with no hard edges. Cassis, black cherries, and sweet tobacco come through as well. Enjoyable at $17. 14.5% alc
