Oddly for a 2011 this had a rather unusual color. It was very dark amber and hazy. A typical for Chris's wines. I'll have to see if the others are the same.
Apple on the nose and mouth. Hard to tell but there is the illusion of a bit of residual sugar, but it's well countered by the acidity so it might just be the fruit/acid and not actual sweetness.
Used this as part of the recipe below and ate it with it. Wouldn't hold this one much longer I think.
