  Mörkt röd. Medel syra och tanniner. Mörka bär, en svag ton av mint. På gränsen till hög alkohol. Förvånansvärt ungt och hade vunnit på vila i några år till. Men en utmärkt cab.

  On the nose: Black currant, sweet berries, dark berries, vanilla.
  On the palate: Black pepper, blackberry, vanilla, high acidity.
  Long finish

  From magnum and excellent. Quite a rich deep wine but does have acidity and some structure but a silky frame.
  A good solid napa - crowd pleaser

  I am sure this wine is at its peak. I have had it multiple times and I can see that the wine will not have more upside left ( my best guess). I have 3 more bottles and will drink them either this year or next, but I will not hold them for lomg if you like the fruit and freshness. Big oak and vanilla , lots of chocolate. Alcohol is under control

  Disappointing showing on this bottle. Into the decanter the smell filled the room—cherry and flower perfume. Checked in at 30 min but a bit muted. At 90 min started to open up, but instead of an expressive cab that I love, this was a bit muted. All the notes were there, red cherry, black cherry, bitter chocolate, cherry blow pop touch of blackberry and blackberry liquer—but on a significantly reduced scale. Opened on a flower day so can’t blame the lunar calendar. Needs more cellar time or a longer decant. Maybe a dumb phase. The 2010s have been hit and miss lately. Really thought 3 years would have meant no need for a 3 hr decant as was the case for my last bottle. Drank with others so this didn’t make it that long.
