- Yellow color with medium forming legs and aromas of oak and diacetyl (butter). It's balanced and has flavours of apple and peach with a medium body. Polished texture with a medium finish - Nice straw color, floral nose with a nice citrus and green apple blend. Well balanced oak, mineral and buttery characteristics with a nice long to medium long finish. This is an enjoyable wine, the only disappointment is when the bottle is empty.

Actually I have tasted this before and it was much better so I wonder if we are into second batch syndrome (Tesco's) - still a very drinkable Chardonnay - refined

It is easy to understand why so many review this wine highly. Not only is it fresh and tasty, there is also a vibrant, mouth coating rich deep flavor few wines in this price area can match. From the instant this wine hits the palate there are all kinds spicy, fruity, earthy and creamy flavors. Typical golden yellow color. Crisp, Chilean style nose that is at the same time floral, fruity, earthy and acidic. Close to full bodied. Spicy pear, peach and melon fruit well matched with crisp citrus and nutty minerality. Very expressive and lively yet still soft and elegant. Not fruit forward. Not overly acidic. Some creamy fig and spicy lemon and grapefruit on the finish.

Continues to provide decent drinking at a fair price (£10) - a good aperitif Chardonnay
