  • Chile and Argentina tasting: [14% alc, 10m French oak]
Darkish yellow colour - was afraid it will be oxidized, but it wasn't. Reductive notes of squash, after a couple of minutes it actually smelled like a young Sauternes - a pleasant honeyed aroma. Minerality and butter, some not so pleasant bitterness on the backpalate, also olives. Sweet and sour taste. There was some disbalance between taste and the nose, it was peculiar but a bit disjointed. Good nevertheless.
