This is a Pinot??? I agree with Listentomewine that this was big and packed with fruit, but to me the jammy quality was cloying and detracted from, rather than enhanced, the wine. Susan usually tastes things blind, and usually nails them spot on, but this one had her flummoxed. She finally guessed new world style Spanish Garnacha. Perhaps with some age the aggressive fruit will settle down a bit.

This stuff was big enough to go well with a smoked rib roast that we had for

Consistent with prior notes. Big, lush and jammy. It's almost too big to be pinot.
