Round and pleasant, but with the right amount of zing still left to make it interesting. Typical Alentejo, always interesting with some spice and acidity riding on the broad and rich base. Subtle power keeps up even to very strong food. Excellent!

Sweet and nauseating nose. Blueberry, caramel, unbalanced and unripe. Black pepper on back palate witch is ok. Limited wine. 84

Dark. Nose of aniseed liquorice, menthol and some heat. The palate is sweet black fruit, gives way to drying tannins. Needs time.
