  Deep black-garnet
  Vibrant aromas of ripe dark fruits displaying damson, black raspberry, blackberry alongside baking spices, especially cinnamon and toasty oak.
  Full-bodied with a fine-grained texture, round with plenty of sweet spices, chocolate and rather splintery almost workshop wood. A generous gusty wine that relies on ellagic tannins over fruit making the oak a little too invasive. Yet underneath, there is an appeal with sweet fruits and the finish is relatively long with powdery tannins. I want to like it more than perhaps I do.
