  Characterized by a very intense dark purple colour, this wine shows great concentration on the nose with blueberry, black currant, black cherry, and anise. On the palate, the dark berry fruits continue with hints of coffee, caramel and brandy-chocolate in the background. Wonderful extraction provides powerfully rich, yet exceptionally soft tannins that are balanced by good acidity. The wine is dry with an illusion of sweetness that lifts the fruit forward, bringing you a long, supple and complex finish.

  40% of grapes through appassimento method.
  Inky ruby red with dark purplish reflections. Cool nose!- green pepper, tabacco, black pepper, hot peppers and coffee.
  Big big tannins but cut with sweetness of appassimento, warm mouth, warm black cherries.
  Keep for and enjoy with a steak dinner!
  Keep for a few years, young but ready
