Light yellow in colour, perfume nose of white fruits and flower with a little hint of hazelnut! Creamy palate, mouthful of white fruits and a touch mineral! Drinking nicely now!
Medium oak. Pretty classic but good value cote de Beaune. Ripe yellow fruit, dominant notes of tangy apple and pear, perhaps even browning (generous use of oxidation) and some vanilla. Quite opulent, rich, ripe, even blowsy - very approachable. There is a very forward village Meursault feel to this. Good body (light to medium). Great value although personally I don't like it's obvious openness, but perhaps that's a 2009 thing, as well as this being a supermarket wine after all.

Lemon and butter nose. Palate is slightly muted. Fresh with a wateriness, a nice minerally end and sharp finish.
