Amazing old CdP. I was sure this one would be long past its prime... but it was lovely, settling into old (or middle?) age. Still some fruit, still in balance, still delicious with a buffalo steak dinner. It complemented the meal perfectly. Better than a Jaboulet 89 CdR that we also enjoyed. You know when these old Rhones settle into a long, graceful decline. This is where this wine was. Subtle hints of fruit, but with a perfect old CdP structure. I only had one bottle of this, purchased for a bit over $7.
