Toasted oak, lots of it, followed by standard Chardonnay flavors. Concentration is good, balance and finish are ok. It could use more time in the bottle, but I suspect it is a product of the difficult 2011 vintage. Over-priced, not something I would pay for, but I suspect others will like it.

Washington Wine Trip; 6/15/2012-6/19/2012: Tasting room pour. Pears and green apples on the nose, weak on the palate, short finish, lacks complexity, uninteresting.

Far lighter in color and palate than the previous vintage. Not quite what I'd expect of Conner-Lee, and perhaps it needs a bit more time in bottle.
