Nice rich texture but also good acidic cut. Broad on the palate but not flabby. Mostly lemony/citrus flavors with a bit of wax. Pretty good weeknight white.

(Syncline Grenache Blanc Boushey Vineyard Yakima Valley) Starts off quite reduced but when it opens up this is a moderately aromatic wine with lime, starfruit, and green apple. The palate is broad in feel with tart lime and green apple flavors with cleansing acidity on the finish. 100% Grenache Blanc. Fermented and aged in neutral French oak. 14.1% alcohol. 135 cases produced. Sample provided by winery

I definitely liked it, but price makes me like it a little less.

Why not, it's a Saturday night in The Hood; 7/27/2012-7/29/2012 (Hood River, Oregon): Pear bubblegum, cantaloupe, flowers crisp wet air on the nose. Palate has nice acidity with mild muted flavors of melon, pear. Finishes with muted flavors and crisp citrusy acidity. Nose more interesting than palate.
Found out later that it had been opened, recapped, and stored in fridge for 2 weeks!! Wow. Great structure despite its recent life.

Very pale straw in the glass. Hay, pear, and minerals on the nose. Great acidity on the palate, more crisp pear, and a slight bitter note at the end.
Not super complex, but a lovely summer wine.
