  Mature straw-gold. Deep, profound nose displaying ripe yellow fruit, nuts, oxidized iodine notes, hay. Full bodied palate, mature honeyed fruit, hazelnut. Ends on a long, iodine, nutty tone. Undoubtedly high quality artesan wine, truly individual, yet I often feel these austere Juras need food to represent more than just an intellectual exercise for wine buffs. One glass is fine, but to finish a bottle you'd need quality cuisine as a backdrop.
