  • Still tasting great !! I agree with my past tasting notes, just delicious !!
Perfect cork after almost a decade and a half in the bottle. Consumed with friends at dinner, a go to whenever lamb is served. This balanced wine opened quickly and showed well. Dark burgundy color with little to no oxidation, clarity medium, unfined, and unfiltered. Aromas of black cherry and pomegranate. Flavors of black cherry cola, raspberry framboise, and leather. This Syrah has a beautifully long finish. A balanced and flavorful Syrah from a fabled vineyard in Shenandoah Valley of Amador County, CA. This age worthy wine should have many more years of life left. Fortunately, I still have one bottle of this vintage remaining in my cellar. I will revisit soon to validate this tasting note. A great fruit source and another great winemaking effort by Bill Easton.

Perfect cork after almost a decade and a half in the bottle. Consumed with friends at dinner in a Greek Restaurant with lamb. This balanced wine started a little tight but opened up quickly and showed better the next glass. At the end of the bottle, the fruit was still fresh, this elegant balanced wine had softened. • The fruit is less intense than before. But a lot more leather and minerals on the nose and finish.
