The Wine Gang (London): Steely and mineral with the oak lending a creaminess to the finish. Not quite as fresh as the Valdesil Godello I tasted a little earlier though. 16.5/20.

Very impressive. Intense with lots of complex sweet ripe peach, yellow apple fruit, english pears; almond nuts and a honeyed maple syrup rich mid palate. The oaking is very well done adding richness and complexity without suffocating the ripe flavours. Highly enjoyable and long with all the components in wonderful harmony. The best godello i have tried. In fact the best Spanish white I have tried!
