PNP. Cork perfect. Color dark ruby. Nose shows sap and bright fruits like pomegranate and cranberry and a hint of iodine. Swishing shows mostly acid structure with some tannin sneaking in on the finish. Sipping shows polish and more density than the swish suggested, with a balanced albeit shortish finish. This is in a perfect drinking window I think and won't wait long to drink remaining bottles.

PNP. Cork wet 1/3rd way up. Color dark ruby. Nose is mostly earth and cherries. Swishing launches with earthy tart acid structure and skin/stem tannins assert on the finish. Sipping is another story allowing the fruit to shine w significant polish and slippery mouthfeel. I think that this is amazing right now and will drink remaining bottles near term.

Drinking just great right now. Energetic, acidic Burgaud style wine with delicious warm vintage sweetness, thus perfect balance. The duck breast that went alongside with this might have required the Cote de Py though.

Fresh and bright red currant, cherry and spice aromas are well-integrated on the palate, with vibrant acidity on the finish; A very enjoyable young Beaujolais
