After sitting for an hour this showed nice aromas on the nose, very BDX left bank with a hint of Bolgheri. Didn‘t show quite the strong concentration. Bell pepper, dark fruit, good acidity. Drank very well. Not an overperformer, but very elegant and solid.

Retailer tasting: In the bouquet ripe red as well as dark forest fruits and sweet spices, e.g. vanilla. On the palate cherries as well as red and dark forest fruits. Certainly an ok wine, but not your every day Cab. Sav.

7 days in Italy.; 6/16/2012-6/22/2012 (Italy): 50-60% in 125L barrels, 20-24 months, up to 50% new barrel. Green pepper, pepperoncini (this blows off). mineral, anise and dark red fruits.
