Highly mediocre Pinot from Lodi. Sour cherry, some metallic after taste and a bit of that old baseball card bubble gum flavor on the entry. There may be a good reason this was in the bargain bin.

You would likely not guess this to be a Pinot Noir if tasted blind. With 15% Petite Sirah, it has some jammy fruitiness, and the 5% Viognier gives it a nice aroma and, believe it or not, a darker color. Ether way, this wine is delicious. In a blind tasting of 12 wines by 13 people, this was both the least expensive AND the most highly-rated (by average). A slam-dunk crowd pleaser, and with its $10 price tag, it's a steal.

I like it. It's a little funky and mushroomy. Would stand up well to beef. Keeps my interest.
