Tannins have softened and drinking nicely. Upon open, strong vanilla on nose...after some time replaced by black currant. Palate is currant, smoky finish, seting tannins and nice acidity. Definitely modern style with heavy oak and sweet dark fruit up front. Drink in next 5-7 years, although might be interesting to lay one down longer term.

Unapproachable at opening, bit of vanilla on nose but mostly closed. Heavily tannic. Recorked and left for next day. Day two, tannins have softened but still present. Still not much nose but really nice wine... Still think this will improve significantly but needs time.

Fantastic but needs some time. Really good structure but will be better when tannins integrate a bit more. Wait a couple of years for next.
