  • A blend of Pinot Noir (48%), Pinot Meunier (42%) and Chardonnay (10%). Total production 2031 cases. 12,5% alcohol.

Pale seared salmon color. Somewhat restrained nose with not particularly expressive aromas of spicy red apple, some cooked rose hips, a little bit of woolly lanolin, light notes of ripe citrus fruits and an autolytic hint of brioche. The wine is ripe, dry and medium-bodied on the palate with flavors of sweet golden apple, some cantaloupe, light autolytic notes of yeast, a little bit of woolly lanolin, sweeter hints of strawberries-and-whipped-cream and a touch of ripe citrus fruits. Good, high acidity and silky smooth mousse. The finish is ripe, moderately long and quite fresh with flavors of wild strawberries, some creamy tones, a little bit of saline minerality, light funky notes of damp wool, a hint of cooked cherries and a touch of cantaloupe.

A rather nice rosé bubbly that is still surprisingly youthful for its age, showing relatively little evolved notes - apart from those somewhat dull notes of wool. There are some enjoyable qualities here, but especially those woolly notes lend some less pleasant, more funky notes to the wine. Although the wine isn't that developed, I think this might've shown better in its youth. Feels pricey for its quality at 48€.

  • In a good spot right now. Still a lot of crisp strawberry notes but a couple of years have rounded the edges just a bit.

  • Un gros nez de framboise fraîchement cueilli à l'aube tiens.
Une finale qui est par contre un peu trop acide.
    Un peu surette de bonbon.
