Bold red blend? Not sure what varietals are here but had firm tannins and restrained fruit of Bing and blackberry. Brightly acidic in really good harmony. Really enjoyed this Okanogan twist top and believe it could have laid down another 5 years.

I tried to discern without looking at the label what varietals were in this wine. I got the Syrah (thought it was Shiraz actually) but thought the other grape was cab because of the very firm tannins. That was explained instead by the tannant they used in this wine. Anyway, the wine is very characteristic of these two grapes. And a little too fruit forward for my liking.

Very nice wine from a very good winery in BC on the Osoyoos East Bench. Once I got past the screw top and comic label I was extremely impressed on my original taste of Moon Curser wines. One of the grape varieties in this wine is Tannat the other more the more common Syrah. The Syrah and Merlot wines are so good in BC. The taste is Dark Cherry, plum, espresso with a touch of chocolate and smoke. The tannins are fine and finish is long.
