Very disappointing for a normally good brand. Like other reviewers mentioned this was well past it's drinking age. It came as a gift for dinner but it was disappointing oh well, the BO 2006 Syrah we drank 2 nights previous was outstanding.

- Garnet color with medium forming legs and aromas of prune and sherry. It's unbalanced and has flavours of prune, medicinal, sherry and oak with a short finish - Oxidized, first comment from wife was I didn't know we were having sherry but why is it so red? Disappointing bottle seems over oaked behind the brown sugar and maple. I expected more longevity from this wine. Really surprized by the plastic cork from a winery that presents itself as superior.

Browning on the pour, brown sugar and maple sugar on the nose, maple syrup and celery on the palate, sour on the finish - and a plastic cork - what were they thinking?

The oxidation has grown less attractive as this wine has aged. No tears as we finish the last bottle.

Definitely past it's prime but still drinkable. Lots of stewed fruit and oxidative notes.
