at 12.5% with some RS; made from 100% Cortese fruit; quite pleasing with a light taste profile of sweetened apple and pear; crisp and clean and served perfectly chilled.

100% Cortese. Straw-yellow color with a greenish hue. Scent of green apples and graphite. Taste is apple & pear with an almond backtaste and a long mineral finish. Excellent Gavi had it with Oysters and it was a perfect match will buy again.

A private lunch (The Sportsman Pub *, Seasalter, UK): Elegant, stylish, lovely ripe candied lemon fruit, good depth, subtle, hint of steel, juicy, wonderful balance, hint of herbs, good length. A far cry from the emaciated, underflavoured Gavi's of yesteryear.
