The Fleming's 100 50/50 Tasting Event Walnut Creek, Nose of delicate citrus, sparkling, and red apple, the same on the palate, light/medium body, hints of sweetness found in most Cremant, it was the starter for the evening that cleansed your palate, enough said.

This seemed to be a bit sweeter than previous bottles and it took on a bland, sugary, melon character with candied pink grapefruit that was just short on acid and lift. Very primary and, while not obviously flawed, it was just uninteresting. I'm hoping this was just bottle variation as I've liked previous bottles a lot more. For the price, it isn't that big of a disappointment.

Very good Cremant. More fruit forward and lacking a bit of the minerality and structure that you would get in a NV Champagne, but it doesn't have the price tag either. This is quickly becoming the "go to" for an everyday sparkler.

Probably suffered from being served after a much better bottle of Champagne, which made this seem a bit thin. This bottle was not as good as previous ones and there was a more pronounced grapefruit note that seemed a bit out of place. However, at about $20, this is a great value and is a very solid wine.

This is a great work horse sparkler, but the higher dosage was really apparent when this was served after a 3g/l Champagne.
