  Textbook oaky Chardonnay, smoky, oaky, nutty nose, with also melon and stone fruits. Nice freshness and precision, but the oak is overt, making it somewhat ordinary. Medium bodied with good acidity, flavours of citrus, stone fruits and oak. Finishes a little hot. Focused wine showing nice intensity, but a bit too oaky. Choose a big Burgundy glass, that helps to mute the oak a bit. 85-86 points
