Community Tasting Notes (1)

  • The nose on the wine is filled with lemon, lanolin, hazelnut, and tangerine blossom. The palate tracks the nose, but lacks the sharpness and distinctness of the nose. Delivering a steely and brisk mouthfeel, I suspect this could have benefitted from some decanting or simply waiting another six months or so before opening. The finish is mineral driven. A pleasing enough wine, but not exactly hitting all cylinders just now. Give this a little more time. This is an unfiltered wine. By the time we neared the final quarter of the bottle, the sediment left it rather cloudy. 13% alc. With roast chicken. Recommended.
