Unscrewed one hour in advance. Tart aroma of baked apple, plum. Bright flavor of sour cherry up front, with a cidery finish. Not for the hedonists, but enjoyable for the acid lovers. That said, this acid lover does think it could use some more body and depth, though air time did help a bit.
If this develops further it will be great, as is it's quite nice though not a great value.

This wine needs more cellar-time, or a long decant. First day, this didn't even really taste like a pinot to me and don' t think I could have identified it as such blind. Dark, muddled red fruits and harsh acids, especially on the back end. Recorked and refrigerated. Next day, what a transformation. Elegant pinot fruit -- bright cherry, cranberry, and a small amount of attractive funk. Almost like an oregon pinot with its leanness and elegance. Maybe lacking a bit of depth but, at under $30, a good qpr. Score based on second day.

Mildly spicy, fruity nose with a touch of forest. Fruity cranberry and cherry palate. Bit of mineral and a bracing, tart finish. Had this over 2 days. Day 1 the wine seemed out of balance and a bit juicy-fruity. Day 2 was where it came together for my taste. Very Good to Excellent.

Nice but still californian. slight candied nose and a touch of spritz on the palate that dissipates after an hour or so. Tart cherries and good mouthfeel.

Loved this at first. After having several bottles of this, it's getting old and tough to drink. Tangy cherry, raspberry.
