  Popped and poured. Darker ruby color. Fragrant nose of cranberry, raspberry, iodine, floral notes, earth. Crisp, fresh, tense layers of mulberry, black cherry, and raspberry on the palate with iodine and cinnamon notes also. Fine-grained tannins which became more prominent as the evening progressed, balancing the bracing acidity and mineral backbone of this wine. Long finish of red berry, grip, and iron. Delightful, incisive wine at this very early stage. Should age well.
