Tasted at vineyard December 2016.
50/50 Pinot Noir/Chardonnay, some aged in oak.. Excellent wine and depth.

Burn Cottage and Charteris dinner (Hughenden hotel): biscuit, citrus, I'm not a fizz person and this isn't going to convert me.

Haven't had this for a few years and it's still pretty much as I recall - a fine Tassie sparkling. Fine bead, straw colour, citrus flavours - and dry.

A light to straw yellow in colour, the nose has citrus and peach with some richer brioche characters.
The wine has honeyed melon inputs that combine with citrus and green apple on the palate. The bead is fine and the finish has good length.
An enjoyable wine that will develop in complexity with a couple of years in the bottle
