Chablis with E&M (E & M's in the rocks, Sydney): Honeyed but also a touch of sourness, floral top notes, perfumed. Stone fruit but a little unripe. Off dry on the palate, juicy acidity, rich without being overtly fleshy. Interesting.

Honey, sweet spice, lemons and slight kumquat. Illusion of off dry - massively honeyed with peppery spice but finishes dry with honey dew melon. I wonder if they have left some sugar here to offset the acidity but the acidity doesn't feel to poky. Enjoyable none the less.

Beautiful golden color with lovely blossom notes on the nose. This wine is very rich, full bodied, and off-dry with the family resemblance to gewurztraminer really notable in the texture. Palate has sweet apple, pear, and apricot. Alcohol is just very slightly hot and the finish is long and clean. I'm glad I drank the wine!

Chris's Birthday at The Bridge Room: Spice and graphite with orange peel and musky aromatics - quite interesting. Tasty with a decent lick of residual sugar. Oily mouthfeel and good length.

The extroverted nose showed a bouquet of pineapple, melon, honey comb, and spice with hints of floral funk and undergrowth. On the palate it was silky smooth with sweet, spicy peach. It showed great presence and perfect balance followed by a hint of citrus, which lasted through the long, saturating finish that seemed to cling to the palate like fruit nectar.
