I dont know why the combination gamay-pinot noir is not more common, this Swiss Wallis wine is a good example of its potential, refined from pinot, gamay for the fruit; would like to try one from a more sunny pinot/ gamay region as this is smooth but lacks some body and nose.

Quintessentially European, rustic and smooth, but light on its feet and great with food. Lots of fruit and a nice touch of earth.
