Out of a mag with low fill. I was expecting vinegar. This wine is still full of life, beautiful acidity, that pencil lead quality of old school zin, plenty of red fruit still around, elegence of old burgundy, and a savory, earthy, mushroom quality. Old Frog's Leap Zin is clearly worth seeking out. Without the failing cork and questionable storage this wine would clearly have at least a decade of life left.

Very cloudy and aged, but still had some life left with bright raspberry fruit and tons of acidity.

RED BROWN ON THE EDGE. CHERRIES IN THE NOSE WITH A TOUCH OF EARTHINESS. BLACK CHERRIES IN THE FLAVOR AND A MEDIUM TO LONG FINISH.
