  Pale bricky red, orange-clear rim; nice clarity. Nose at first has a raisiny character, later not so apparent. Raspberry and dried cherry, with some pine straw, bay leaf. Medium body. Tartness on palate, persisting with a bit too much bite on the finish. More cherry/raspberry, bit of truffle. Decent wine but nothing special.
