  • Still good. Surprising given some ontario wines lose it after 5 years or so.
    Still fruit forward
    good mouth feel
Overall well enjoyed if you have one this old.

  • Opened but not decanted about two hours before service, then air in the glass for about 20 minutes. I think this is a typical representation of Niagara Pinot Noir from a vintage that was decent, but somewhat challenging.

Light in body, with a light red color throughout. Upon opening the palate showed the typical raspberries, but after a couple of hours plus time in the glass the wine took on more weight. A typical Pinot spiciness emerged that made the wine even more attractive. I would not hold this wine any longer, but do give it a bit of air to show its stuff.

  • Popped and poured. Medium red with a touch of bricking on the rim. Palate of raspberries with very noticeable acidity and moderate tannins. A very nice wine that was good with salmon but would work with lighter meats as well. The wine might benefit from a little more bottle age, but no reason to hold off.
