  This wine has a deep color and smell of black peppercorn. The taste is like concentrated dark fruit, complex on the palate, but has a long and lingering smooth finish with some spicyness. Quite interesting.

  8/14: Sprayed wine preserve into the bottle & it worked very well. Though the wine was still too strong, fruit forward & could only be tamed with a couple of blocks of Giardelli's chocolate.
  I keep trying different varietals but it only reaffirms my belief that a Cab or Cab blend is the only sure route to a great dinner wine experience. Final score: 87
