  • (Chens@malacca) Fresh, crisp, racy acidity, white florals, lemon pith bitters, some kero development, oily, textural. Long slatey and stainless steel finish. Fun and yummy, pairing perfectly w the salted-yolk cuttlefish, butter lobster and cereal softshelled crab. :)

  • (inaugural brunner @changi) surprising development, with buttery notes already showing. Still light white florals, zingy citrus, but oilier now. Edge savoury, and decent.

  • (MidWinter Brunner:Truffles+Wagyu+TextBookWines) Flinty, funky lime zest, green chlorine, beeswax with white flowers. Some spritz in glass. Grassy, hay, talc and limestone, lined with bright citrus and lime zest. Oily and textural, perfect with Bo's smoke trout. Classic Clare - Yum!

  • (Christmas dinner @Adel's) elegant florals, hint chlorine, crisp buttery note, hinting at signs of secondary age already showing. Similarly crisp and buttery on palate, zesty fragrance, oily and a pleasant greenness, and orange oil. Clean finish, flinty shale, and some enjoyable viscosity. Complete, and classic Clare.

  • (hawkesbury w elaine) Tall, clean citrus, with white flowers. Hint lemon zest. Sweet smelling, with just the lightest edge of petrol funk and lanolin. Tall, crisp acidity cutting through white florals, orange blossom, pomelo pith. Steely clean, somewhat finishing slatey, with just an impression of sweetness which evaporates almost right away. Classic Clare riesling. I wonder how this would age, but drinking beautifully now.
