I love this one, I wish we had more. Great balance of just enough of everything. Kudos to Joey T for coordinating and putting this delicious old and new world combo together. It Really is drinking beautifully right now and was a big crowd pleaser last night at our dinner party. It worked well with an Italian, rustic, braised pork dish.

Very nice. Previous note is accurate but no need to wait long to drink this. Don't agree with drinking window either - it could go another 6 years but it will be tired by them. Drink within next 3 years (at most). Price disparity between winery direct and retailers (cheaper) is only disappointment.

50% of this blend comes from the 80-year-old Grenache vines of Domaine de Montvac, located in the town of Vacqueyras in Southern Rhone (France), the other 50% are Tensley Colson Canyon Syrah. Medium ruby color with some purple. In the nose and on the palate there are nice notes of red berry, minerality and blackberry, pepper and chocoate notes. It's medium-full bodied with medium acidity and medium+ tannin. Good length. The opulent fruit is nicely balanced by the wines freshness. A very interesting blend.
