Color is orange-red, certainly a tinge of old wine bricking. After 1-2 hrs of decanting, aroma is of fig, prune, well preserved old fruit. Old fruit immediately hits the palate, very fine prune mid-palate, little of no depth. Finish completely disappears. This wine is past its drinkable window, sorry, too old. The nice Grenache and Syrah aromas/taste that were there, apparently, have given over to a softer older prune offering. And the finish..., sorry, it's just not there.
