Drinking very nicely now. The first sips were through a Vinturi but the rest of the bottle was decanted. Kind of hot right out of the bottle with heavy tannins. As we worked our way through the bottle the fruit emerged but not overly so. Really enjoyed the last half of the bottle.
Will decant the remaining bottles for at least 30 minutes next time.

six nations tasting - (pyrmont wharf, sydney): grippy tannin over red plum. Quite green notes here as well, perhaps even some capsicum. Lacks ripeness for me...I wonder if it's got some cab franc in here?
