A nose of dark fruits and spices, dark purple in color. A medium to full bodied kitchen sink blend, with black cherry, berry, vanilla and spices on finish, a bit disjointed. www.winelx.com

On the nose there were black fruits, sour cherry and some hints of baking spice.
On the palette it presented with some nice tart cherry, vanilla and a bit of spice. The mouthfeel is medium, it has moderate complexity and isn't overly acidic even with the tartness.
The finish is relatively long with a lingering dose of carmel like tannins after the sour cherry.
This is an excellent QPR. Drinks mostly like a zin, but the mourvedre and other varietals take it in a slightly different, tart and enjoyable direction.

Blend of Z/Mo/B/CF/PS/M. Soft and rich. Confirmed on 2nd try. Just fine on day two. Seems just a hair more enjoyable than other recent 90s, so putting at 9.1. Really makes a great impression right out of the newly opened bottle.

Served at 62F allowed to breathe for one hour.
Visually- deep red, with ruby edges. Medium legs.
