First had this at a restaurant in October 2016, liked it more and thought it a 95 then. It was lighter then with more fruit and a brighter essence. Today it is still good but, as a previous note mentioned, it is more savory and mature tasting. Very interesting to note the evolution of this wine in just under four years. Gave it two hours of air and the required Phoenix summertime red wine chill that helps mitigate the warm alcohol hit. This is till elegant with a hint of mint and a more mature taste than in 2016. The color was a faded burgundy also reflecting the age I thought. It's lost some youthful verve but is still drinking well. However if you're a fan of bright fruit, as am I, your time has passed. Now the taste is savory with dark roasted fruit, toasty and a note of chocolate. The last glass poured had a veritable boatload of sediment...further evidence that the tannins are fully resolved. If this bottle is representative of those remaining, I'd say drink sooner than later.

Fun and pure; great flow; long, just-sweet finish. Full bodied but medium weight. Not super complex but admirable in character due to the great job keeping the focus on the dry, savory fruit. Really gorgeous. Wish more pure cabs drank like this. [next day update I learned this is a blend, so.]

Silly smooth tannins and beautiful fruit! Drinking very well now. Wish I had another one in my cellar.
