  • I bought a few bottles of this in 2014 at a local wine shop "garage sale." Turned out every other bottle was corked, so I decide to hang onto this one. It was surprisingly...good. It had the Gamay nose and palate, just softer and muted. Color had definite bricking. Tons of sediment. But the tannins are still there, chugging along ("I think I can... I think I can...") toward the roof of my mouth. I wouldn't mistake it for a Volnay but there's something Volany-ish about it.

  • PNP. Cork perfect. Color light garnet. Nose tight but has some dusty cherry. Swishing shows terse acid structure w some light but gritty tannin. Sipping suggests a little over ripeness? Meh
