After one hour decant. Spicy nose with a hint of berry and a bit of herbaceousness. Nice acidity and soft flavors, more herbal or earthy than fruity. A nice subtle wine.

Awesome bottle...just wish I had more! A touch of nice Pinot funk on first opening, then really opened up with black fruits - cherry, raspberry. Some spice and wood notes as well. On the palate, really nice mouth feel and medium-long finish that is really pleasing. Drank over two days with spices showing more on the second day. Pairing: 1) Grilled Copper River Sockeye Salmon 2) Roasted Chicken breast with Yukon Gold potatoes.

Double Blind Le Provencal, Wine Dinner; 6/26/2012-6/27/2012 (Le Provencal, Miracle Mile, Coral Gables,FL): - Violet color with fast forming legs. It's balanced with a full body. Juicy texture with a long finish - Hue's wine. Only USA. Thought it Syrah.

Drank like a decent village level burgundy. Well balanced, if a bit austere. Nice QPR for $20, less so at regular retail,
