Drank from small bottle. Very difficult - we were not sure whether this bottle was somehow flawed and represents the current state of this wine. Nose extremely flat. Little honey and cooked pine apple. Taste showed up very ripe without having a good balance. No minerality. No freshness. Very disapointing.

Two Chablis: Labelled Drouhin-Vaudon. Drunk over two nights. Watery colour. A bouquet of stony minerals and chalk. Also some citrus notes but lacking in primary fruit aromas. Not a pretty nose. In the mouth, the first impression is of lesser fruit weight. Definitely in a lighter style, lacking in the mid palate, a little hollow, and in power. Metallic, rocky and green apple flavours. A real impression of underripe greengages. Acidic, but not in a way that appeals. A bite of phenolic bitterness on the back end. Not pleasant. I did consider whether the Chablis could be presently shut down. However, I seriously doubt the underlying material here. I don't think that this wine is going anywhere.

Unimpressed. Oily and viscous rather than fresh citrusy and light. Tasted blind and I guessed Marsanne Roussanne (!!)

Light yellow, medium body
Citrus zest, and Macintosh apple nose
High acidity, tastes like the nose
Good wine. Exactly what I expected out of this wine

World Wine Symposium 2013 - Kevin and Kelly's excellent adventure; 11/6/2013-11/14/2013 (Villa D’este, Lake Como): For me, the 11 Chablis are too green, showing too much pyrazine. This was no exception. Somewhat lean, noticeably green and lacking energy. It was a pleasant wine that went well with mortadella and focaccia.
