  Oh what could have been. Tasted as part of a Nebbiolo night.
  
  I had such high expectations for this but unfortunately it seemed flawed and suffered from premature oxidation. It wasn't completely ruined but certainly was impaired and a stark contrast to the purity and expressiveness of my previous bottle consumed in the fall.
  
  On the nose lots of prune and red licorice, some anise, thyme, and balsamic.
  Palate opened quite vegetal with acidity and tannis both building towards the back of the palate.
  
  A shame as I can't help but think what could have been. Alas, such is life and the way she goes sometimes!
